 ATTEMPTED CRIMINAL ASSAULT.
 Teddy C. Woohvool, a young aboriginal half-caste drover, pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempting to commit a criminal assault on Elizabeth Goostrey,
 19 years of age, whilst she was returning to her house across the paddocks from Montague's Hotel, Brown's Plains at 8.30 on the night of February 18.
 He was found guilty, and remanded for sentence.
