George Wainwright PINFOLD was a man of many trades
a Baker, a builder with the Excelsior Building Company as a general hand,
he started a hairdressing business all while in Sydney.
A steward and an musician on board one of mail steamers to England where he played in the ships band.
After getting a divorce from Louisa in 1907, George sailed back to England, returning to Australia in 1923, where he lived in Arncliffe N.S.W with his son Percy PINFOLD until his death in 1925, he was 61 years of age when he died.

BOY AND GIRL TOGETHER.
Mr. Justice Simpson, in the Divorce Court yesterday heard the petition of Louisa Tomlin Pinfold for the dissolution of her marriage with George Wainwright Pinfold on the ground of desertion.
It was stated by Mr. Boyce. who appeared for the petitioner, that the parties, were married;,at Brisbane on December 25, 1883.
Petitioner stated,' that' she filed, the petition against her husband, in 1897. ' She had not seen him for 13 years. He had not written to her nor had. He sent her. any money. They had been boy and girl together in .England, and when he left her her husband went back to England. Respondent was a baker by trade, but while in Australia he worked as a builder. He also started as a hairdresser.In 1893 he went away to England, saying that he was going, to get money to start another business in Sydney. Respondent promised to send for her if he decided to stay In the old country. He went to England as a steward and musician on board one of the mail steamers. He played in the ship's band. She had not heard from him since 1893.
His Honor directed that the matter stand over pending the production of an affidavit as to service.
