MRS. CECILIA SHEPPEARD. Death removed, at her daughter's residence, Victoria Avenue, Oakey Park, on Friday, one of Lithgow's old residents, in Mrs. Cecelia Sheppeard, at the age of 77 years. A native of Victoria, Mrs. Sheppeard came to Lithgow when only a girl and resided here continuously up to her death, consequently her reminiscences of early days were most interesting.
 She had suffered for some months from an internal complaint, and death was not unexpected. Her husband, a well-known local coal carter for many years, predeceased her some time ago, but a family of seven remains. The members are Mesdames A. Delaney, G. Stafford and J. Sullivan (Lithgow), and Miss C. Sheppeard (Sydney), with Messrs. George and William (Lithgow), and Herbert (Glenbrook), and to them sympathy will be extended. The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon.
