Narrative
DEATH AFTER CYCLE SMASH
Pillion Passenger on a motor-cycle which collided with a meat wagon in Parramatta-road, Auburn, on Monday, George Hazelwood (22), of Carnarvon-street, Auburn, suffered a compound fracture of the skull, and died in hospital soon after admission.
The rider of the cycle, Frank Edward Rose (19), of Greystanes-road, Pendle Hill, received a fracture of the skull and lacerations to the head.
Both were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital by Parramatta-Auburn Ambulance.
