Mary Ann was the daughter of Michael Holley a brickmaker, born in Ireland in 1840. Her mother was Ann GROGAN, also born in Ireland in 1841. She had one brother, Herbert Holley. Witnesses to the marriage were her father John Cook and brother Richard Cook. (The writer of this book meant his father and brother ).
