Narrative
SHEPPEARD —CORNELL.
A pretty wedding took place at St Paul's Church of England. (Parish Hall), Lithgow, on Wednesday, 20th, when Minnie Eliza, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs Thomas Cornell, of Emu Plains, was married to Charles Herbert, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Wm Sheppeard, of Inch street, Lithgow. The officiating clergyman was the Rev Dixon Hudson. The bride wore a beautiful dress of white silk, trimmed with Valenciennes lace and insertion, with hat trimmed to match. The bridesmaid was Miss Edith Bessie Cornell, sister of the bride, who was attired in a very pretty cream silk dress, trimmed with Valenciennes lace, and hat trimmed to match. Mr Alfred John Delaney, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, acted as best man. After the ceremony was over, the happy couple drove to the residence of the bridegroom's parents, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast had been prepared. Costly and numerous presents were received by Mr and Mrs Sheppeard, jun, from their friends and relatives. — "Lithgow Mercury."
