RUSSELL—SIDEY.
A very pretty wedding eventuated at the Church of England, Beaudesert, on Thursday, April 27, the bridegroom being Mr. Frederick Russell, and the bride Miss Olive Sidey, both of Beaudesert. The Rev. Maxwell officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a very handsome princess robe of cream embroidered canvas voile, tucked and braided. She carried a bridal bouquet of white chrysanthemum and maiden hair fern, tied with white streamers, and her beautiful wreath and veil completed a very pretty costume. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss. Ethel Sidey, as maid of honor. The latter wore a becoming dress of white muslin, tacked and trimmed with embroidery and blue satin streamers, and a hat to harmonise. Mr. Herbert Dennis acted as best man. In the evening a dance was held at the residence of the bride's parents, fully a hundred people being present. The music was supplied Miss. Katie McMullin (piano), and Mr. A. McMullin (violin), assisted by Messrs. Dennis, B. and J. Cecil, while Mr. W. McMullin had charge of the dancing arrangements.
